Research/Information Gathering. Wanna Help?

As the title states, I am looking for information that I'm in need of. I don't feel like going into too much detail on what it is that I'm doing, so long story short, I'm in the process of making something. I want to use this information for said "project" I'm working on. It involves two of my favorite video game characters. They're from different franchises; however, they're both owned by Capcom.

The idea I have in mind is a what if scenario crossover:

By some chance should these two characters ever team up together and form some type of partnership (it can be temporary or permanent. It doesn't really matter), how should they act or behave around each other? Do they share any similarities character traits/quirks? If they do, what are they? What are their differences? Do they share any other similarities (ex: hobbies, occupation, likes, dislikes, etc.)? Do they have any similar styles from the way they dress to the way the fight? If so, list them. Do they share any strengths and weaknesses? And lastly, are they compatible with one another?

These are basically the main types of questions that I want answers to. It's like a compare and contrast kind of thing yet at the same time it's not

Now then,

If you know me well enough then you should have an idea or know who I'm talking about (I practically draw the two-well one of them tbh- a lot for god sakes!)

_{As much as I love Resident Evil and Devil May Cry, I'm not very knowledgeable (let alone an expert) about the series as a whole or some of its characters (especially the latter)(It's the truth unfortunately) ._.}
